FH marks Independence Day

While no official count was available, it is estimated that thousands showed up to celebrate the "Fourth at the Fountain" event on Friday evening, July 4. Fireworks were featured to conclude the evening, which drew many others to the downtown area and to Fountain Park outside the gate areas.

Several vendors ran out of product as the large crowd milled about the amphitheater, beer garden, food court area and children's play area.

Unlike Thursday and Saturday evenings, no storm activity occurred here on Independence Day, paving the way for a warm but calm holiday event.
