Awards were presented by the Department Commandant of Arizona, Pat Connell, and Department Adjutant Kathy Reese.
One award was the Department of Arizona Commandant's Award to the Detachment “for your phenomenal accomplishment of recruiting 52 new members above the required number for the chapter in seven months and for your commitment to the Marine Corps League and the United States of America.”

At the Department of Arizona Spring Conference of the Marine Corps League, the Fountain Hills Marine Corps League Detachment 1439 was presented with two distinguished awards.
Awards were presented by the Department Commandant of Arizona, Pat Connell, and Department Adjutant Kathy Reese.
One award was the Department of Arizona Commandant's Award to the Detachment “for your phenomenal accomplishment of recruiting 52 new members above the required number for the chapter in seven months and for your commitment to the Marine Corps League and the United States of America.”
The second award was a Meritorious Commendation to Marine Phil Yin and the Detachment “in recognition for your exemplary work in growing the Fountain Hills Detachment and establishing your detachment in the community; and for your dedication and commitment to our Veterans in the interests of the Marine Corps League and the United States of America.”
