There were about 200 in attendance as the Fountain Hills Republican Club welcomed Gov. Jan Brewer on Thursday evening at the Community Center.
Brewer talked about the economic turnaround for Arizona under the GOP leadership of the past five years. She said Arizona is an economic success story that has been driven by conservative "less government" policies.
“I have made it a personal mission to make Arizona the best place in the country to do business, and we are well on our way,” Brewer said.

Her comments to the audience also included discussion of her decision regarding the controversial Medicaid expansion for the state and immigration and border security.
