The Fountain Hills chapter of the Family History Society of Arizona meets Monday, Feb. 13.

The group will gather at the Community Center at 9 a.m. Announcements, introductions, questions and comments from the audience will precede the program.

Chapter President Lisa Reis is guest speaker. She will present information about analyzing DNA for genealogists, including an overview of tests currently available and how they can help you with your genealogy. She will answer questions at the end of her presentation.

The Fountain Hills chapter of the History Society of Arizona meets every month from September through May on the second Monday of each month. Meetings, unless otherwise published, are at the Community Center. Everyone is invited to attend.

Mentors will assist beginners in family research. Attendees are invited to bring questions and concerns such as how to begin and how to understand findings. If there is not enough time during the meeting members will stay after and help with concerns.

Following the meeting members meet at a local restaurant and extend an invitation to visitors for a no-host.
