The Fountain Hills Democratic Club held its second very successful Happy Hour of the summer on July 12 at Georgie's Diner., with close to one hundred people enjoying the happy hour drinks and delicious food supplied by Georgie.
An additional treat was having the very talented Dave Karl and his guitar serenade the gathering. Among the inspiring speakers at the event were Heather Ross and Garrick McFadden, both of whom are running for US Congress, David Schapira running for State Superintendent of Public Education, Eric Kurland and a spokesperson for Daria Lohman, who are running for state representative and state senate, respectively in LD23. Also speaking were Ginny Dickey, candidate for mayor of Fountain Hills and Alan Magazine and Sharron "Blue" Grzybowski, candidates for FH Town Council.
The evening concluded with a raffle and lots of good cheer.
