The Fountain Hills High School cross country team has been running well at meets this season.
One Falcon in particular has been standing out and representing the Falcons in the best way possible. Junior Colby Wright performed well during the season and is looking to make his mark at the state championship Saturday, Nov. 2, in Cave Creek. Currently Wright is a top-15 runner in the state and has been running with a lot of passion each meet.
“Colby had a great season and placed himself in a position to run fast times and be in the top 50,” said Fountain Hills High School Cross Country head coach Andrea Hall. “Colby had a top 15 performance in a steep men’s field that had some of the fastest times in race history.”
