“God has an incredible dream for you! God wants you to be the very best-version-of-yourself!”
That’s a quote from Mathew Kelly, a Catholic Christian author who has written numerous books -- all of them inviting people to engage in their faith and get excited about the future.
During “Faith on Tap” participants will discuss how they can live the ideas suggested in the writings of Kelly.

Kelly questions why so many are not active, or even interested, in the church and why the young are not coming.
Thirty percent of all people in the U.S. under 30 years old express “none” as their religious affiliation.
Faith on Tap is a discussion-based gathering of men and women, led by Deacon Phil LoCascio of Church of the Ascension.
At Faith on Tap participants will laugh, pray, eat, drink, listen, question and discuss ways they can enrich their faith more -- and deepen their sense of purpose.
They explore ways for people to connect with their spirituality again, and get energized. Sometimes they just listen and help someone along who has had a rough time of it. This is for friendly people of all faith perspectives.
The group meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the third Sunday of every month.
The next gathering will be Sept. 20. It’s in the Ascension parish hall at 12615 N. Fountain Hills Blvd.
There will be something to eat and drink. Come and bring a friend.
