For those of us who pay attention to military issues, this week was a big one because the F-35 jet, the same ones that are stationed at Luke Air Force Base, were used in a combat mission for Israel.
For the last couple of years pilots from all over the world have come to be trained at Luke and it’s possible that the ones who flew for Israel were trained here in Arizona. It’s quite easy to forget that we and our allies around the world build up our military capabilities for a reason. This week we saw what that reason was: To keep the world and our soldiers safe.
