The National Weather Service is forecasting another potentially wet weekend for Fountain Hills and the monsoon appears primed through Monday, July 31.
The forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of thunderstorm beginning tonight (Friday) with that 40 percent remaining through Saturday. Sunday the chance of rain drops off to 30 percent into Monday.
Temperatures are expected to remain below the 100 degree mark through the weekend.

The National Weather Service is forecasting another potentially wet weekend for Fountain Hills and the monsoon appears primed through Monday, July 31.
The forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of thunderstorm beginning tonight (Friday) with that 40 percent remaining through Saturday. Sunday the chance of rain drops off to 30 percent into Monday.
Temperatures are expected to remain below the 100 degree mark through the weekend.
Fountain Hills with is numerous washes is prone to flash flooding and motorists are warned to avoid attempting to cross flooded areas where washes cross the streets.
