I, along with several others, recently completed the Citizens Academy program, which is offered free by the town to interested citizens. It is an excellent program that provides detailed information on the town’s government and its operation.
I would strongly recommend it to others. You meet personally with the staff of the various departments and they provide insight into their operations and answer all questions from the attendees.
I believe we all left our final session with a real appreciation for the knowledge and expertise of our town staff and a much better understanding of local government and the issues that our Town Council must address.

It was a rewarding and enlightening experience, and we all very much appreciate the opportunity to attend the Citizens Academy.
