Eric Gene Quist

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eric Gene Quist, on October 23, 2024 at his home in Pine, Arizona. Eric was born on March 22, 1934, to parents Carl and Olga Quist from Washington, Connecticut. He was the youngest of 12 children. Eric was a devout Christian, a loving father, and a friend to many. He was married to Sara Squire (Quist) of Roxbury, Connecticut for 58 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Leslie Q. Fox of San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, and Amy Carolyn Morway of San Diego, California. Eric graduated with a degree in engineering from Western Connecticut State University, was a member of the US Airforce, and served in the Korean war. He enjoyed a 40-year career as an electronics engineer, rising to Vice President of Research & Development at Branson Electronics in Danbury, CT. In 1994, Eric retired from Branson and settled with his wife Sara in Fountain Hills, Arizona. He was active in several Christian churches over the years and enjoyed singing in the choir. Eric was also an avid sports fan. He loved the solitude in mountains, where he enjoyed his final years. At Erics request, no services will be held.
