The Hills Street Blues Band led by Debbie Fisher had the walls vibrating at the Community Center this past Saturday as approximately 500 people enjoyed eating Chicago Dogs and listening to music featuring songs reminiscent of Illinois and other old favorites.
Eleven musicians came together to produce the sound that kept toes tapping. Jack Houck, Gene Monteleone and Lou Vitale on guitar, Ken Macik on bass, Phil Katz on tenor sax, Dale Nelson on auto and baritone sax, Allen David on trombone, Jerry Zelhofer on harp, Greg Fisher on drums, and Debbie Fisher on keyboards. Debbie also sang as did Paula Eberspache.
They obviously had fun performing and the audience thoroughly enjoyed the show. The River of Time Museum is very grateful to each of them and hopes they will return to entertain in the near future.
