Enforcement

Perhaps photo enforcement of our main arterials and intersections would make our town safer and help boost our budget.

We see it all the time; drivers speed with impunity, run red lights and blow through stop signs and crosswalks. Our deputies can’t be everywhere and it’s dangerous and time consuming for them to make traffic stops, so why not employ a few randomly placed photo enforcement vans around town to bust these drivers?

Just about every other municipality in the Phoenix area has been doing this for years and they work. Accident rates are reduced and the bad guys have to pay. Unless traffic laws are rigorously enforced they will be willfully ignored.
