Quoting a California customer recently waiting in a recreational marijuana line, “A new American freedom.”

Quoting a California customer recently waiting in a recreational marijuana line, “A new American freedom.”

It may be a new California law, but how free? What is free about collectively paying $1 million to $2 million for a tax? (Per day, in perpetuity.)

That customer unknowingly has equated freedom to a new tax.

Tax can be equated to tribute, but never to freedom. Tax in any analysis is the antithesis of freedom. Anyone advocating for taxation or a new tax is in effect an enfeebler, one that would weaken you.

Look on those who do such with great suspicion, regardless of how altruistic they may sound. They are the first to have you pay that tax, as they often seek to avoid its payment themselves. Or secretly lobbying for nullification for themselves. Or in some way directly benefiting from that tax on you.

That customer should have correctly equated that tax he pays to a physical cost to himself, that is scrambling of his own brain. Scientific evidence shows that scrambling to be a fact. The younger a user is, at first starting marijuana use, the more the brain gets scrambled over long-time use.

Marijuana use does not make you stronger.

That California customer could and should correct himself as, “A new American freedom, for those willing to pay the price of physical brain injury,” and/or quitting marijuana use.
