Emergency

As I write this, Trump is declaring a national emergency on the border. An emergency is something that is life-threatening or something that needs immediate attention.

While I agree we have an immigration problem, where is the national emergency on guns and the epidemic of shootings? Why do we accept a society where mass shootings continue? Where is the passion, diligence or fight to find some solutions to the slaughter of our citizens? Where is that attention, cry, flag, uproar and emotion to find a solution to a real emergency?

What are you thinking or saying? It’s time!
