Most of us have no idea how our elected representatives are representing us down at the Legislature and we really ought to keep a closer eye on them after they are installed.
On Feb. 11, our very own Rep. John Kavanagh just disgraced Fountain Hills again. He clearly went out of his way to try to humiliate and mock Rep. Athena Salman after she gave a secular invocation to open the legislative meeting earlier.
She spoke about her appreciation of our amazing universe and Mr. Kavanagh disrespected her, as if insisting that praise to God had to be included in order to satisfy himself.

Time and again, he makes clear that he cares only for those who share his narrow views and not all the residents of his Legislative District. He shows no tolerance or respect for others and I am embarrassed to be represented by this man.
