National Flag Day is Tuesday, June 14. The public is invited to the ceremony, which starts at 9 a.m. at Veterans Memorial in Fountain Park.
A presentation will be made to depict the history of the flag. This will include an introduction of all the flags that have served our nation since 1775 to present day.

Elks conducting flag ceremony June 11

Fountain Hills Elks Lodge 2846 will conduct a special ceremony honoring the flag Saturday, June 11.
National Flag Day is Tuesday, June 14. The public is invited to the ceremony, which starts at 9 a.m. at Veterans Memorial in Fountain Park.
A presentation will be made to depict the history of the flag. This will include an introduction of all the flags that have served our nation since 1775 to present day.
At an Elks National Convention held in Dallas, Texas, in 1908, a proclamation was made to set aside June 14 every year as National Flag Day. Elks Lodges nationwide celebrate the occasion each year.
The Four Peaks Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will assist in presenting the flags.
