Edwin W. Bayne

Edwin W. Bayne, 67 years old, a long-time resident of Arizona for 18 years, passed away on Aug. 16, 2014.

He was born on Jan. 4, 1947 in Teaneck, N.J. His parents are Elizabeth A. (Hodgson) Bayne and James F. Bayne, both deceased.

He proudly served his country for three tours in Vietnam as a Marine Staff Sergeant.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Maureen (O’Rourke) Bayne. He has a brother, Lawrence Bayne, and his wife, Ann (McDermott), and a sister, Johanne (Bayne) Muller, and her husband, Henry.

He was blessed with three children, Kelli (Bayne) Rubino and her husband, Robert; Sean Bayne and his wife, Dina Vrablic; and Meghan (Bayne) Barlow and her husband, Sean. He had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and seven grandchildren.

Visitation was held at St. Dominic’s Chapel, Rio Verde, Thursday, Aug. 21,  beginning at 10 a.m. followed by celebration of Ed’s life at St. Dominic’s Chapel at 11 a.m. Burial with full military honors at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona is at 1 p.m.
