Education solutions articles should compare Arizona, other states

Deer Valley superintendent: Without comparison, readers don’t get adequate context

OPINION — Regarding Following the money: how Arizona pays for public school students and other articles written by Stacy Mantle: they are missing one major angle … “compared to what?”

Whenever you are writing articles about Arizona funding or public education resources, there needs to be a reference to a similar state. Without comparisons to other states, the reader just sees money in large quantities and doesn’t put context to it.
