An adequate supply of water is essential for the current and future citizens of Fountain Hills to insure the continuation of the current quality of life.
A recent picture of the low water level in Lake Mead convinces me that there is a real water problem.
If the current drought persists, there is real possibility that there will be a water shortage in Fountain Hills, if there is not an adequate plan in place to compensate for it.
I recommend that the Town Council engage an independent expert consultant to analyze future water supplies and to prepare a drought relief plan if a shortage is anticipated.
