On Monday, April 25, I was taking care of my son’s two dogs. We went to the large dog park and, five minutes later, KC – a 14-year-old schnauzer – was attacked by another dog.
The owner was right there and managed to pull his dog off. When I took KC to the vet, there was extensive injury.
Unfortunately, I was in too big of a hurry to get to the vet to get the name of the owner of the other dog. When I inquired later, I was told that he felt he should pay the vet fees.

That’s great, except no one knows the man’s name and he apparently doesn’t go to the dog park often. A lady who does go often took my name and phone number in the hopes that he returns. He hasn’t yet.
When my son came for his dogs, he wasn’t too happy about the bonus vet bill. The vet and charge is at the El Dorado Animal Hospital in Fountain Hills. Please call 480-837-0800.
