Disappointed in Representative Schweikert’s vote against stopgap bill
I am quite disappointed to see that our Representative, David Schweikert, voted along with 89 other Republicans and one Democrat against the stopgap bill to avoid a government shutdown. This puts him in the company of Arizona’s radical right MAGA Republicans: Biggs, Crane, Gosar and Lesko, who danced to the tune of Donald Trump’s recommendation: “Unless you get everything, shut it down.”
Is this the kind of representation we want in the future, all or nothing? Contact his office and register your displeasure and then vote wisely in 2024.
