This marked the 10th anniversary for MADD, and it just keeps getting bigger and better!

It’s always so rewarding to see children, teens and adults of all ages come together for a common cause – helping our fellow neighbors.

It really shows off our sense of community here – our common unity on Saturday was to improve our town and help individuals who needed some assistance with landscaping, painting, deep cleaning, etc.

Projects like this make me proud of the Town of Fountain Hills and its employees, citizens and business owners.

As I prepare to take my seat on the Town Council in December, I hope this sense of community can continue for years to come among our citizens.

While we may not always agree on all the issues, just remember that we are all neighbors and things like respect, kindness, civility, taking responsibility, communicating and hard work go a long way toward keeping our reputation as a unique community known for its innovation, outstanding citizenry and a “can do” attitude.
