In 1995 I was interested in purchasing a home in the Phoenix area. Once I looked into Fountain Hills, I was sold. The people were friendly and outgoing, it was a mixed age community and they had an excellent school system.
Unfortunately, over the years I have observed roads in serious disrepair, services dwindling and just some major deterioration of the town.
As construction has slowed down, so have fees and taxes. Past bond and city tax proposals have failed. As they fail, so does income to the city, leaving fewer funds available for city operations.

I’m voting for the property tax because I feel it is needed to bring our town back to the level of excellence it once was when I invested in our town.
I fear, if the proposal fails, we will see much faster deterioration of our city. I cannot stand by to see this happen. Please vote yes with me in May.
