Desert Creek Fellowship will present the “Foundation Series” at 10 a.m., Sundays, during April.
The series is a biblically-based explanation of the basic foundational doctrines of the Christian faith.
“The question is where to begin. With so many doctrines, beliefs and interpretations, knowing where to start can seem just a little bit daunting,” said Pastor Rod Warembourg. “Think of it as Christianity 101.”

The series comes on the fifth anniversary of the formation of the church. The first service was held April 7 in the basement of Warembourg’s home. A year later the church moved to 15024 N. Ivory Drive.
“The old adage ‘time waits for no man’ continues to prove true. The fact is time moves on and not one of us is promised a tomorrow,” said Warembourg. “This was the very reasons we started the church. While tomorrow will always carry uncertainty, there is no reason that eternity should.
“I know that sounds like a bold statement in a day and age such as ours, but the Bible is quite clear when it comes to eternity, you can have certainty.”
