Early ballots will be arriving in the next few days and we will begin to exercise our will as voters. As we decide which candidates deserve our vote, we consider the credentials each of them has to offer.

For town council, we have a team of three candidates with solid credentials for the position and the commitment to apply them for the benefit of Fountain Hills. Gerry Friedel has decades of experience in banking and financial planning and an ability to know how important it is for an individual, family, or government to live within its means.

David Spelich has years of experience in law enforcement, much of it in the Chicago Police Department and currently in criminal investigation for the State of Arizona Department of Education. Public safety accounts for a large portion of the town budget, so a full understanding of it is vital.

Marcus Bulow von Dennewitz (as Marcus points out - the longest name on the ballot) is a professional auditor. He worked for the State of Arizona Auditor General’s Office, conducting financial audits of several government agencies (including the State Treasurer). He is now a Senior Audit Consultant for CVS Health. Town finances are critically important, and Marcus has the skill to fully dissect, understand and explain them.

For U.S. Senate, three candidates are running for the Republican nomination. So we ask, “Who has been consistently supporting conservative principles for years, not just a few months?” “Who can effectively and passionately express conservative ideas to voters?” “Who has been endorsed by reliable conservatives Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Rep.
