Council to consider naming policy

The Town Council will discuss naming opportunities within the town and review the town’s naming policy during a work session prior to the next council meeting on Tuesday, March 20.

The agenda for the regular session includes consideration of art donations for display at Town Hall. Those items include two items entitled “Alignment” and “Orange Sellers,” and a southwest landscape.

The council will consider a contract with Somerset Landscape Maintenance for tree trimming and removal for an aggregate amount not to exceed $100,000.

Council to consider naming policy

The Town Council will discuss naming opportunities within the town and review the town’s naming policy during a work session prior to the next council meeting on Tuesday, March 20.

The agenda for the regular session includes consideration of art donations for display at Town Hall. Those items include two items entitled “Alignment” and “Orange Sellers,” and a southwest landscape.

The council will consider a contract with Somerset Landscape Maintenance for tree trimming and removal for an aggregate amount not to exceed $100,000.

An additional contract tor consideration is for $33,270 with AMEC Foster Wheeler for storm water support services.

The council will also consider a resolution relating to the town’s application for Arizona Lottery funds and use of proceeds for transit related expenses.

The council will also consider a resolution amending the town’s personnel policies.

It is also routine, while the State Legislature is in session, for the council to discuss the Legislative Bulletin from the League of Arizona Cities and Towns.

The Town Council meets on Tuesday, March 20, with the work session to begin at 4:30 p.m. and the regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. Both are in council chambers at Town Hall. The meetings are open to the public.
