The Town Council will consider approving an agreement for $105,250 for a consultant to design the final phase of improvements to Fountain Park when it meets on Thursday, Jan. 2.
The agreement with DLR Group will also include construction documents, construction administration and civil engineering for the project.
The Phase VI improvements would include pathway lighting, parking lot improvements on the east side of the park and monuments signs at three major locations around the park. Staff has discussed with the council the possibility of using an LED automated sign at one of the monument locations. It will have additional information for the council on that possibility this week.
