The Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce and the Fountain Hills Cultural and Civic Association (FHCCA) Civic Affairs are hosting candidate forums for those running for seats for mayor and town council in the upcoming primary election.

The eight candidates seeking three available seats on the council will face off on Thursday, June 6, at the Community Center from 6 to 8 p.m.

The candidates include Clayton Corey, Matthew Corrigan, Gayle Earle, Henry Male, Peggy McMahon, Art Tolis, Robert Wallace and Rick Watts.

One week following that event on Thursday, June 13, the three candidates for mayor will have their turn to answer questions for the public. That forum is also at the Community Center from 6 to 8 p.m.

Incumbent Mayor Ginny Dickey will answer questions along with challengers Joe Arpaio and Councilman Gerry Friedel.

Both forums will feature a question-and-answer format with questions selected by FHCCA Civic Affairs and the Chamber Public Policy Committee.

These events are open to the public, but seating is limited.
