Fountain Hills council approves ordinance changes

Applies to ‘community residences’

The Fountain Hills Town Council voted unanimously to approve several changes to the Zoning Ordinance as it applies to community residences.

Such residences, usually in residential neighborhoods, are group homes where unrelated people live together. This may include assisted living or transitional housing.

The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed and held a public hearing on the proposed amendments and recommended council approval.
