In an expression of gratitude, Shepherd of the Hills Church Lutheran Church in Fountain Hills extends a “Thank You” to the Fountain Hills community for its collaborative efforts in bringing to life the 15’ x 8’ Community Advent Mural.
From August onward, individuals of all ages and varying skill levels have actively contributed to this artistic endeavor using a paint-by-number system, resulting in a collaborative masterpiece, according to a press release.
The culmination of these communal efforts is set to be revealed on Sunday, Dec. 3, during the church’s 9:30 a.m. service where attendees will have the opportunity to witness the unveiling of the completed mural showcasing the diverse talents that have shaped it.
Furthermore, on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m., Shepherd of the Hills Church will host a special Advent Service. During this event, the mural will be illuminated with black lights to accentuate sections adorned with fluorescent paint, adding a captivating dimension to the artistic achievement, the release said.
“The entire Fountain Hills community is invited to partake in these events, witnessing the unveiling of the mural and experiencing the enchantment that arises when a community collaborates to create something truly beautiful,” the press release continued.
