The Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church is holding Holy Week services that culminate on Easter Sunday, March 31, recognizing the 50th anniversary of church’s first worship service in 1974.

The days leading to Easter are an important part of the calendar for the Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church (FHPC), which extends an invitation to the community to join in the services, according to a press release.
The services begin on Palm Sunday, March 24, at 9 a.m. and lead into Maundy Thursday, March 28, commemorating the Last Supper. Maundy Thursday will feature a meager meal in the Fellowship Center at 5:30 p.m. with a service in the sanctuary at 6:15 p.m.
Good Friday service will be held at noon March 29.
Easter Sunday, March 31, not only recognizes the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but is the 50th anniversary of the Presbyterian Church’s first worship service in 1974, according to the release.
Easter Sunday worship is 9 a.m. at the church.
