The Fountain Hills Community Garden organizers will present a free demo class, “How to build a raised bed garden” alongside its volunteer meeting on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 1 to 3 p.m. It’s a big day for the garden, as this will also serve as a groundbreaking event where visitors can start claiming their own plots.
This event will be hosted out of the Community Center. The class will focus on building a raised bed garden using green, safe, earth-friendly material with Earth Friendly Block.
The class will be presented by local owners and garden supporters, Dan and Sue Ellen Chouinard. More information on the duo can be found at efbm.com.
