The Fountain Hills Community Center will host a speaker who will talk about Social Security planning this summer.
The talk will occur from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on June 20 at 13001 N. La Montana Drive, according to a press release. The session will be led by Registered Social Security Analyst Steve Thomas, who will provide insights into one of the most important components of retirement planning.
Topics covered include the history of the Social Security program, where your contributions go, what benefits you and your family can receive, when to claim it and the funding issue. There will be additional information for everyone including those who have not started their Social Security benefits yet, singles, married couples, widows/widowers and divorced persons.
