Christ’s Church of Fountain Hills will focus on the family this year during its Vacation Bible School.

Parents and grandparents will journey with their children through the Bible from July 31 through Aug. 4. The theme will be “What’s in the Bible?”

Hours will be 5 to 5:30 p.m. for dinner and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for the event.

Each day will begin with a 45-minute session only for parents in which a video will be shown about teaching your family about the Bible and God’s redemptive mission.

The goal is to move parents from asking ‘What did you learn today?’ to ‘How can we apply what we learned today to our lives?’

Friday, Aug. 3, will be a date/late night, an opportunity for adults to spend a night out without children. The evening ends at midnight.

Participants are invited to return for a family breakfast at 8:30 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 4, before the Family Focus service at 9 a.m.

To register, call Scott Mathis, 480-837-3121, ext. 103, or visit fountainhills.church/events.

The church is located at 15555 E. Bainbridge Ave.
