Children’s Entrepreneur is tomorrow in Fountain Hills

Fountain Hills Farmer’s Market held through April

Posted

The Fountain Hills Farmer’s Market will host the Children’s Entrepreneur Markets (CEM) tomorrow Wednesday, March 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Held on the west end of the Avenue of the Fountains, kids will come from all over the Valley to sell their hobbies, crafts and baked goods as they learn how to sell, make change and become successful entrepreneurs.

Visitors can expect handmade food, art, store-bought items, games or services.

The kids must do all the selling, according to a press release, while their parents are welcome to help set up and let the children deliver the pitch and close the sale.

CEM is a nationwide non-profit organization that seeks to help kids learn leadership and business skills with firsthand experience, the release said.

Those interested in registering their children for the CEM can visit childrensentrepreneurmarket.com and look up nearby markets to participate in.

Call Fountain Hills Farmer’s Market Manager Betsy Hess at 480-227-6113 for more information.

The Farmer’s Market runs every Wednesday until the end of April.
