If citizens of this country watched Frontline July 22 on television, they would wake up to the fact that our own children are going to bed hungry.

One in five or 13 million parents are unemployed; 1.4 million losing eight-hour shifts to part-time because of Obamacare.

Forty-six million are living below the poverty line, struggling but losing the battle. Parents are losing their homes, putting their possessions into storage units until unable to pay rental fees, losing everything. Staying in cars or vans, shelters if available, and soup kitchens.

It was heartbreaking listening to the children who try to help, roaming neighborhoods looking for cans. Many have to relinquish their beloved pets. I thought we were in a Third World country.

Government taxing too much, feeding inflation for housing, food and utilities. Obama administration is more worried about illegal children, not even trying to stem the flow. $1.1 billion spent last year to transport illegals. Now wanting almost $4 billion, using borrowed or printed funds, causing more debt and inflation. Are they more important than our own children?

Cash-cow for California hospitals advertising in foreign countries that pregnant women can get birth paid for -- compliments of the U.S. -- plus child becomes U.S. citizen automatically.

Three hundred forty thousand come yearly just from Panama. Some are well-off and own business. After birth, they return to their native country until the child is grown. Family returns to U.S. with child to reap citizen benefits.

It’s time to stop this madness. Where are the watchdogs in this country?

Now with Obama’s magical pen, bringing planeloads of El Salvador children into the U.S., bypassing Mexico. We’re importing what they’re fleeing from. These countries must clean up their own mess.
