Change needed

After living in Fountain Hills for several years, I see a strong need for political change on our local, state and federal levels.

While initially a supporter of David Schweikert, I have been greatly disappointed by his very poor performance in Congress. The most recent reply I received from him shows a complete and utter lack of spinal fortitude on his part. I can no longer back him and regard him as part of our problems and in no way a part of any solutions. Vote him out.

Likewise with Mayor Kavanagh. I just do not see anything productive from her, excepting photo-ops in the paper. Time for her to go as soon as possible. Tomorrow would be good…

Her husband, John Kavanagh, appears to be one of the biggest wastes we have in the state house. He has proposed and backed many items that have cost Arizona enormous amounts of money to no good end, and he managed to accumulate a lot of ridicule and shame upon the state at the same time. Nothing useful for us that I’ve seen. Vote him out. Be worth having a Democrat in the office for a short time just to get rid of Kavanagh.

I think the trouble with many of our office holders is that they almost immediately forget that they represent us, and revert to their own opinions and beliefs, which in many cases do not represent the rest of us. This is especially true of our two federal senators and Kavanagh.

Many of the bad apples in our Legislature have been weeded out over the last four years. Time for one more hoeing!
