The Chabad of Fountain Hills has announced the inaugural Fountain Hills Jewish Heritage and Food Festival, blending traditional cuisine, live entertainment and family-friendly activities, all with free admission.
Planned from 12 noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25, at Fountain Park, the festival will feature authentic Jewish cuisine, hands-on cultural experiences and live klezmer music throughout the afternoon from “The Kesser Project of Las Vegas.”
Families can enjoy children’s activities and inflatables, while food enthusiasts can explore traditional dishes and flavors rooted in Jewish heritage.
The festival is designed to be welcoming and accessible to everyone, inviting attendees of all backgrounds to experience the culture through food, music and community, according to a press release.
“In Fountain Hills, we take pride in our festivals — they bring people together and define who we are as a town,” said Fountain Hills resident Clemonicia Stone. “This Jewish Food Festival feels like a perfect fit. It adds something fresh, meaningful and joyful to our already vibrant community.”
Set at Fountain Park, with its backdrop of the World Famous Fountain and the McDowell Mountains, the event continues the town’s tradition of hosting standout festivals that attract both locals and visitors, the release said.
Community partnerships are helping bring the festival to life, including support from the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce, Fountain Hills Sister Cities, Aspire Financials, LLC and media sponsorship by the Jewish News of Greater Phoenix.
Excitement for the event is already spreading beyond Fountain Hills. Peter Marcus, a Scottsdale resident planning to attend, said, “Authentic Jewish food, culture and entertainment in such a beautiful setting — and free to attend — it’s exactly the kind of festival worth the drive.”
Organizers hope the Jewish Heritage and Food Festival will become a recurring Fountain Hills tradition and a regional draw in the years ahead.
