In Mr. Corrigan’s submission to introduce his candidacy he made a statement that caught my eye because it was a part of the discussion surrounding 5G.
As one of the many with a 5G phone, I look forward to this service to my home. I was pleased to see the council decided on rules guiding the placement of antennae about town. However, Mr. Corrigan repeated the idea that 5G can be delivered from a cable in his and my front yards.
While cell phones are powerful handheld computers, they are above all else radios. They get their communication feature from another antenna. When solving crimes involving cell phones the police use three towers to triangulate and find missing people or a crime in progress. In short, they are communicating through radio signals. Ask any amateur radio operator as well.
After months of witnesses and hours of testimony from NIMBYs who are fighting progress, just remember your fears of RF energy when holding them up to your ears, and brains, or signals that bounce inside your cars.
