Fountain Hills Sister Cities invites friends to join in celebrating a cultural favorite of Sister City Ataco, El Salvador, at the Arizona Pupusas Festival in Phoenix.

The festival will be held from 12 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at the Stratus Event Center, 4344 W. Indian School Road, Phoenix. The cost is $15 for advance tickets, $20 at the door and free for children under 10.

Pupusa is described as part tamale, part quesadilla and a mainstay of Salvadoran cuisine.
