The Swedish word “fika” means more than just taking a coffee break. It’s a beloved cultural ritual, a moment to pause, relax and connect with others.

That’s the spirit Malin Sherlock had envisioned for her Swedish eatery, Café Bliss, which opened in Fountain Hills earlier this spring.

Serving freshly-made quiche, pastries, coffee, sandwiches and salads daily, the brightly designed café offers a cozy setting for breakfast or lunch where visitors can experience a true Swedish fika.
