It’s going to be a busy weekend around Fountain Hills, especially for families. All of the hubbub is taking place downtown, so get ready to spend some quality time with your neighbors in the coming days.
First up, Ballet Under the Stars returns to Fountain Park this Friday, Sept. 22. The show is set to begin at 7 p.m. on a stage erected near the amphitheater. Free to the public, this event showcases dance numbers from various performances that will hit the Ballet Arizona stage in the coming year. Spectators are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on, as the audience will line the hillside surrounding the stage.
Then, on Saturday, the local River of Time Museum is getting in on Smithsonian Magazine’s Museum Day Live event. All you have to do to participate is download a Museum Day Live ticket at Smithsonian.com/museumday, which will grant free access to the local museum between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
