Sometimes I wonder what’s wrong with the Millennial generation. My grandkids, bless their hearts, say they are liberals and non-believers.
Last weekend I was outside Fry’s with my grandkids when a homeless-looking man approached me. Being a charitable Christian, I offered a few dollars, but he refused. To my surprise, he rudely shouted at me that I should worship Karl Marx. He even said that Marx was greater than Jesus Christ!
His outburst stunned me. I didn’t think people like this existed in Fountain Hills.

I considered calling the Sheriff’s Office. But I am a brave, patriotic, pro-life combat veteran who understands the necessity of war and fully supports all military decisions made by the United States.
Armed as always with my concealed carry, I felt safe. I picked up a rock off the ground.
“How old is this rock?”
The Marxist smugly replied, “46 billion years, you stupid Christian.”
“Wrong. It’s been 5,000 years since God created it. If it was 46 billion years old and evolution, as you say, is real…then why is this still just a darn rock?”
He was visibly shaken, dropped his copy of “Origin of the Species” and ran away.
I explained to my grandkids that the rock hadn’t changed because God’s initial design was perfect. Unfortunately this poor soul was deluded.
Was any of this possibly because of our broken education system that keeps religion out of the classroom? I can only guess.
I urge all parents to bring your children to church so they may learn the truth, since it won’t be taught by their public school teachers.
I pray that my grandkids will someday register Republican and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, before Hillary Clinton is elected and it is too late. Semper Fi.
