I would like to thank and recognize our Fountain Hills MCSO Captain, Hank Brandimarte, for his outstanding leadership and service to our community the past few years.

Captain Brandimarte started his new job with MCSO two days ago, having been promoted to Deputy Chief. This is a significant promotion since there are only 10 Deputy Chiefs in the entire MCSO!

Captain Brandimarte attended every Fountain Hills Coalition Sector meeting he was able to and provided wonderful insights as we collectively strive to prevent underage drinking and illegal drug use in Fountain Hills. He was a tremendous partner with the Text-A-Tip program and the installation of the prescription drug drop box at Town Hall.

In addition, Captain Brandimarte provided great leadership with the special “Take Back Day” program where residents come to Town Hall and deposit their expired prescription drugs so they don’t get into the hands of our Fountain Hills youth and/or others.

We have been so blessed with wonderful captains of MCSO for our District 7 substation over the past couple of decades. Captain Brandimarte is the second Fountain Hills captain to be honored with a promotion to the coveted Deputy Chief position.

Thank you for your service, Deputy Chief Brandimarte, to our very special town and we wish you all the best in your new position.
