Teen Center
Teens also have a place to call home this summer at The Club Teen Center.
New Teen Specialist Jarrin Rozenblad is organizing this year’s summer activities and said local teens have a lot to look forward to.
“I have spent a lot of time planning and thinking of how to make this summer the best one Fountain Hills has experienced yet,” Rozenblad said in a letter to local members. “We will be taking field trips, doing plenty of fun activities and having some high quality clubs/programs.”
The Teen Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the summer. Membership is the usual $25 annual fee, with extra fees for specialized classes and trips. Any teen who needs to come before 11 a.m. will need to pay an additional $35 per week for the additional time.
This year’s Teen Center activities include Chpped, a cooking club; Music 101, Teen Art Club, Summer Brain Gain Brunch, Open Gym, Boyz in Da Club, S.M.A.R.T. Girls, Docu Club, You’re the Best Around and Money Matters.
The Club will also host themed weeks, dress-up days and field trips to locations like a Diamondbacks game, a Mercury game, a skate park, bowling and more.
To register, drop by the Club and sign up for individual weeks of participation. For additional information, call 480-344-5404.
