Camp enjoyment for Fountain Hill students on break

Fall Break is coming up for Fountain Hills students, and the Mary Ellen & Robert McKee Branch Boys and Girls Club is hosting a fall break camp on Oct. 7 to the 11.This camp is for students who don’t want to be stuck at home and bored. The club wants kids to come have fun playing games and participating in intriguing events. Branch Director Lauren Stratton explained more about the fun and importance of this event. “We are open from 7 (a.m.) to 6:30 (p.m.), and we run different activities every single day,” Stratton said.“We’re having a fall Olympics, like the Olympics. So, there’ll be different activities every day that the kids can participate in, both in small groups and individually, for awards. Will have spirit type activities, a twin day, a dress like your favorite staff day, a wear wacky socks day, those type of fun things.”
