Walk-ins also will be accepted during the drive.

One may also visit www.bloodhero.com and enter in the sponsor code “Kiwanis.”

UBS has been Arizona’s non-profit community blood provider since 1943 and serves patients in 50 Arizona hospitals.

The UBS network is one of the nation’s oldest and largest non-profit blood service organizations, and is a founding member of America’s Blood Centers and the American Association of Blood Banks.

Patients receiving lifesaving blood transfusions could be accident victims, surgery patients or those receiving treatments for leukemia, cancer and other diseases.

Give blood and earn reward points from UBS for such things as T-shirts and other prizes.
