Bipartisan legislation has been a very effective process for providing effective legislation that benefits everyone. However, it is does not appear to be possible in 2017, because current legislatures believe that compromise is a destructive concept and a personal flaw.

Also, each political party and its members believe their position on all issues is the only correct solutions to any problem and the other party’s positions are wrong and dangerous and must be opposed.
