The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale McKee Branch is gearing up for its youth basketball program.

The season includes eight games with uniforms and in-house tournaments/awards included with the regular registration fee. For those who register by Nov. 8, the cost will be $100. For those who register after Nov. 8, the cost will be $125. A $25 Boys & Girls Club membership fee is also required for those who are not already members.

Age cutoff for the various divisions is Sept. 1. They are broken into Biddy Ball (co-ed, Ages 5-7), Rookies (co-ed, Ages 8-9), Cadets (co-ed, Ages 10-11) and Suns (co-ed, Ages 12-14).

A free fall clinic will be held for all those registered in the league from Nov. 4-6. The Biddy Ball clinic will be held from 5-6 p.m. on those days with Rookies at 6-7 p.m. and Cadets/Suns from 7:15-8:30 p.m.

A mandatory parent meeting will also be available on either Nov. 7 or Nov. 8 at 6 p.m.

Player evaluations and drafts will be held in November and all players must attend during their scheduled session.

The Suns will hold their evaluation on Nov. 12 with the Cadets on Nov. 13 and the Rookies on Nov. 14. All evaluations are at 6 p.m. There will be no Biddy Ball evaluations.

Those who would like more information, or for those who are interested in volunteering as coaches for the upcoming league, may contact League Director Kevin Quackenbush at 344-5406 or via email at kevin.quackenbush@bgcs.org.
